SSAC Presents
IMAGINE

our 70th Anniversary Festival Preview Gala

Thursday, June 12 | 6:00 - 10:00 pm
Under the Tents | Cohasset Common

Can you believe South Shore Art Center is turning 70?

Join us on Thursday, June 12 for IMAGINE, an anniversary gala to celebrate 70 years of community arts and impact - and 70 years of art festivals on Cohasset Common. Inspired by the art, fashion and pop-culture of the 1970s, IMAGINE will transform our Festival marquee tents into a modern Studio 54, electrified by the beats of disco phenom Booty Vortex. As always, SSAC's Gala will offer the epicurean best with a tasting menu from premier restaurants, an open bar, and a sneak peek at Arts Festival exhibitions. But at the party's heart will be images by artists who defined SSAC over the decades as well as by the emerging artists who will shape its future. IMAGINE the possibilities!

IMAGINE kicks off South Shore Art Center's 70th annual Arts Festival, which officially opens on Friday, June 13 and runs through Sunday, June 15. Welcoming over 30,000 attendees, Our Festival boasts an 'art village' of juried craft artists, outstanding music and food, and a family-friendly beer tent, 400+ pieces of contemporary art in the outdoor tents and Art Center galleries, and creative activities in the KidsTent. This do-not-miss event heralds in summer with an explosion of art!
