SSAC Presents
Like Newbury's Business: Uncommon Art on the Common

Thursday, June 13 | 6:00 - 10:00 pm
Under the Tents | Cohasset Common

Join South Shore Art Center on Thursday, June 13 for our annual Festival Preview Gala. Titled LIKE NEWBURY'S BUSINESS: Uncommon Art on the Common, this event will feature a cutting-edge exhibition, curated in partnership with Newbury Street's Pellas Gallery, of contemporary and emerging artists - all local and all artists who are part of changing the creative landscape in Boston and beyond. Come and explore the one-night-only installation and meet artists Xiaowei Chen, Giovanni DeCunto, Percy Fontini-Wright, Tim Gianelli, Imagine, Masha Keryan, Timmy Sneaks, and Slime Sunday.

LIKE NEWBURY'S BUSINESS will deliver on its name by bringing stylish sensibilities to the typical fundraiser. Enjoy a delicious tasting menu from the best restaurants south of Boston, an open bar, and cool vibes provided by DJ Melissa followed by a live set from the Smoking Jackets. But the evening's centerpiece of course will be the uncommon art from local, emerging artists under SSAC tents, right here on Cohasset Common.
